Professor DONATO Helbling

Professor Helbling was invited into the Budokon®University program by Kancho Cameron Shayne, the creator of Budokon®, in 2005. Since then he has dedicated himself to learning and spreading this art and was the first one to achieve the rank of Budokon Black Belt, together with fellow Professor and best friend, Joseph Ensign. He is now the Director of Budokon in Miami, Latin America and also the International Director for the Budokon Yogic/Martial/Living Arts system. Donato's teaching style is engaging, motivating and inspirational, with a strong emphasis on fluidity, control, balance and discipline. He is a 200-hour Budokon®Yoga teacher and has studied other Martial Arts including Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Capoeira, Wing Chun, Kyokushinkai Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Krav Maga. He is also a certified firearms instructor and teaches a course called "the Zen of Shooting" where he helps students understand the value of a focused mind and how to reduce distractions that keep them away from their goals and potential. He is the International Director of the Budokon Mixed Movement Arts Program, of Budokon®Latin America, and head instructor of the BDK Mixed Movement Arts Academy Miami.
