Rob started his movement journey at the age of 5 when he signed up for collegiate style wrestling.  After 21 years of wrestling and weightlifting, he decided to investigate a more restorative type of training and began practicing hot yoga in 2007.  

In 2009, he began his training in the Budokon University MMA program andcurrently holds the rank of brown belt in the BDK system.   He is interestedin all forms of movement and is a NASM certified personal trainer and MMA conditioning coach.  He is also a certified TRX trainer as as well Barkan Method of Hot Yoga level 1 and 2 instructor.  

He chooses to practice Budokon because its movement integrates the healing power of yoga and mobility with the power and precision of martial arts.  His focus now is on improving his calisthenic strength and mobility as well as training for his black belt in the BDK Academy Miami.  He believes that in life, like on the yoga mat, we get really good at the things we practice, even if we aren’t aware we are practicing them.
