Led by Budokon Director Melayne Shayne, alongside Black Belt World Champions and Hall of Fame Inductees Luanna Alzuguir and Ana Carolina ‘Baby’ Vieira, this unique experience brings together women from around the world to learn Jiu Jitsu from some of the best female athletes and leaders in the sport, while reconnecting with the wildness around and within us.

The Warrior Women x AVIV Retreat is designed to reset and awaken your inner and outer strength, confidence, and clarity. Through a blend of Budokon practices—Yoga, Mobility, Crawling Patterns, Calisthenics —and the empowering art of Jiu Jitsu, we will awaken dormant aspects of ourselves. Together, we will build our armor, rekindle our courage, and cultivate self-reliance. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore and unify our femininity and masculinity, softness and strength, instinct and intuition.

Over 6 days and 5 nights, including arrival and departure days, we’ll live in an intimate, nature-immersed tribal community at Melayne’s secluded Montana home, surrounded only by the forest and mountain views. This retreat is designed to ignite profound transformation and reimagine who we are.
