For the first time, Budokon Director Melayne Shayne will be offering her signature Budokon Yobility Primary Series Certification Program in Germany for our European community. The Certification Course will be held in English at ESTŮYOGA in Hamburg May 5 - 8, 2026.
Our Teacher Training will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and embodied understanding required to become a certified and inspiring Budokon Yobility Primary Series Teacher.
This Teacher Training is ideal for both Budokon beginners and seasoned yoga, dance, and functional-movement teachers ready to elevate their craft. You will work directly with Melayne Shayne, Director of Budokon University and founder of the Budokon Yobility movement language within the Budokon Mixed Movement Arts System.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS
Once you paid your non-refundable deposit, create a free account on budokononline.com and you will get enrolled for 2 years in your online certification libraries. You will also receive a 1 year Budokon Online Academy Membership.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
Our Budokon Yobility Primary Series Teacher Training is offered to a highly selected and exclusive group of 20 students only. Due to the limitation in capacity our cancellation policies are strict.
1. No refunds of tuition for all online certification program libraries neither first deposit payment.
2. Refunds only apply to remainder balance (after deposit + online libraries) IF another student on waitlist takes spot or if student finds a full paying replacement.
3. Transfer to another certification program date only possible up to 60 days prior to the beginning date of the Training.
4. If student can not participate in person, a transfer to our online certification program is possible. Please refer to the tuition for each program online.
5. If student can not participate due sickness or injury an official doctors note is required. Budokon University will transfer the student’s tuition to a future certification program date.
BE PREPARED
Your training begins now! The months leading up to the training camp you will be focusing on familiarizing yourself with the Budokon movement practice, teaching and philosophy through all your online libraries. You will need several months with this material to be prepared when you arrive.
Completing the first 3 CHAPTERS of your online library including the mid term exam is MANDATORY for your teacher training participation.
YOU MUST SPRINT + STRENGTH TRAIN + LEARN BASIC MARTIAL ARTS
In order to have a powerful experience you must prepare yourself and build fundamental strength. You need to be able to execute 25 consecutive push ups daily (on knees is acceptable for girls) and at least 3 pull ups.
Enroll yourself in a Jiu-Jitsu Academy and start your martial arts journey. We also have a both a Striking and Grappling Fundamentals Program available for you on budokononline.com
Once you complete your in person training, you will have 4 - 6 months to work through the last chapters of online training as well as your final video and written exams to get certified. Once reviewed and approved by Budokon University you will receive your official Budokon Certificate.
WHAT TO BRING
Keep it simple:
Notebook, pen, water bottle, training clothing (long sleeves to cover the shoulders recommended), no need to bring your yoga mat.

BUDOKON ONLINE CERTIFICATION LIBRARIES
Our libraries are divided into chapters and consists of in depth video tutorials, pre-recorded classes and mind sciences taught by Cameron and Melayne Shayne.
WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS
Budokon University is an educational institute that educates teachers. Your Certification Program with us will elevate your mental, emotional and physical capacities, finesse your communication and teaching skills as well as expand your business tools. All mind science assignments are a combination of podcasts, reading material and self-reflective essays.
PHYSICAL PRACTICE & ASSIGNMENTS
We understand that Budokon is an intermediate to advanced practice, that will require life long training for mastery. Our Certification Program will take your physical skill set to the next level and open you up to new movement practices.
Throughout the chapters you are required to submit video assignments demonstrating cueing, and movement abilities and a understanding of the Budokon curriculum which will be reviewed and given feedback.
IN PERSON + CERTIFICATION PHASE
You will be studying closely with Budokon University Director Melayne Shayne as well as our Budokon Assistant Team.
Your online certification phase consists of:
1:1 Technical Refinement Live Online Sessions
1:1 Enneagram Personality Type Coaching with Melayne Shayne (optional)
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR CERTIFICATION
Once you complete your in person training, you will have 4 - 6 months to work through the last chapters virtually. In your certification chapter you will be asked to demonstrate your skills and understanding of Budokon through final video and written exams. Your certification material will be reviewed by Melayne Shayne and Davonne Smith.
Failing is not an option for us for you. Our team will guide and support you all the way to the completion of your certification program. Put time into your practice and personal development. Only submit videos and essays you feel proud of and don’t rush through the process.
Remain focused and discipled. Remember your WHY.
Once reviewed and approved by Budokon University you will receive your official Budokon Certificate and can begin your Budokon teaching and sharing journey.
If due to sickness, injury or other personal reasons you can not comply with the 4 - 6 months deadline please communicate with Davonne at info@budokon.com to confirm and an extension and new deadline.
If the student does not complete her/his studies by the 2 year mark, Budokon University charges a 50USD administration fee to reinstall access to the Online Certification Library to give the student access to it for another 3 months to complete the certification.
HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR CERTIFICATES
In order to maintain the quality of our Budokon teaching certification all teachers must update their certification every 3 years. If the teacher fails to extend his / her certification his / her Budokon teaching certificate will be suspended until updated. Continuous education is essential for Budokon University.
We offer TWO options to update and maintain the teachers’ certificate:
OPTION #1:: UPGRADE WITH SAME CURRICULUM
Attend a Budokon University Certification Camp of same curriculum. The tuition is reduced to 250USD for any certification camps not held in Montana (e.g. 4 days in Germany).
The student has the option to join a full Certification Camp in Montana for a total of 1000USD per curriculum (meals and accommodation included).
The student will be granted another 2 years of their Budokon University library.
OPTION #2:: UPGRADE WITH NEW CURRICULUM
The student continues his/her education by attending a Budokon University Certification Camp of any new curriculum and getting certified in that specific field at a 10% discounted tuition. The discounted tuition applies to either in person or online certification program.

THE ENNEAGRAM PERSONALITY TEST
Melayne and Cameron continuously explore and enhance our program to guarantee a rich learning experience and to create opportunities for self-development work as part of your Budokon experience.

Please email melayne@budokon.com if you are interested in taking the test prior to coming to Montana. Once you have completed the test you will receive a 3-4 pages result report via email. You will be asked to write your personal reflections on it. While in Montana Melayne will introduce the Enneagram Tool during Mind Science. Schedule your individual reading and coaching to understand your results and how to integrate the insights into your life.
