THE ELEMENTAL THAI MASSAGE & BUDOKON MOBILITY IMMERSION

Guided by Sebastian Bruno & Melayne Shayne

SeptEMBER 4–10, 2026 | Montana

Guided by Co-Founder of ThaiVedic Sebastian Bruno and Budokon University Director and Mixed Movement Artist Melayne Shayne, this immersive experience weaves together the elemental wisdom of Traditional Thai Massage and Medicine and the integrated system of Budokon.

This immersion is an invitation into the space where integrated strength meets softness and deep listening.

Where movement becomes a language of connection — with self and as preparation for the art of touch.

Where touch then becomes a pathway to our own senses, intuition and inner wisdom. To feeling, relating and understanding others with curiosity and compassion.

The Elemental Thai Massage & Budokon Immersion will foster in you a practice in how you meet yourself, and others. Where Thai Massage and Budokon become meditation in motion.

This immersion is for certified bodyworkers who desire to become certified in Foundational Elements of Thai Massage by Sebastian Bruno or anyone curious to partake in the experience as an immersive retreat and for personal development.

Where we meet with presence first, not technique first.

Most movement trainings teach you how to perform.
Most bodywork trainings teach you how to apply techniques.

This immersion is uniquely curated beyond technique and performance. You will explore:

  • Listening

  • Relating

  • Adapting

  • Being present in real time

  • Ritual and meditation

  • Slow, rhythmic, wave-like touch and movement

  • Budokon Mobility for health & longevity

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Effort and ease

  • Control and trust

  • Giving and receiving

BUDOKON MOBILITY—YOUR FOUNTAIN OF LONGEVITY TO GIVE

Budokon Mobility is not separate from Thai Massage. In this uniquely crafted immersion it is an integrated part. It will become an essential tool for you to refine your body and forge in you the longevity required for your devotion and practice of giving.

The quality of longevity is not only relevant to a bodyworker but any human as we age and in order to develop our fullest capacity of athleticism, health and vitality.

During our daily Budokon Mobility Sessions, you will understand and develop:

  • Joint integrity and resilience

  • Connective tissue durability

  • Tendon strength through full ranges of motion

  • Fluid, controlled transitions and efficient weight distribution

  • Spiral mechanics and crawling patterns to reduce unnecessary strain

  • Control of breath under load

  • Stability without rigidity

SEBASTIAN BRUNO

“This training is an invitation into the heart of the Thai healing arts, where touch, perception, meditation, ritual, and elemental understanding converge. Thai Elements offers a traditional, embodied approach to Thai Massage, grounded in Thai Element Theory, Buddhist principles, and lineage-based transmission.

I draw from over 20 years of dedicated study and practice, and share Thai Massage not merely as a technique, but as a diagnostic and therapeutic system. One that requires presence, discernment, and an understanding of the forces that shape body, mind, and consciousness.”

Thai Elements invokes the wisdom inherent in the natural Elements (Space, Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, and Consciousness) as understood within the Thai medical tradition.

As an independent branch of ThaiVedic, Thai Elements focuses specifically on Thai Healing Arts, presenting aspects of Traditional Thai Medicine as close to their original form as possible. The intention is to preserve and transmit the knowledge shared by genuine teachers and lineage holders, while making it accessible through direct experience and practice.

Rather than separating theory from touch, this training integrates elemental assessment, treatment planning, and bodywork into a unified, living practice.

Melayne Shayne

Melayne Shayne is a movement philosopher, martial artist, and one of the leading female voices shaping the evolution of modern yoga and movement culture.

Over the last two decades Budokon has expanded into one of the most distinctive systems in contemporary movement culture —an integrated practice weaving together martial arts, yoga, mobility training, calisthenics, and philosophical inquiry.

Born in Berlin to a Brazilian-German family, Melayne’s life has always unfolded at the intersection of structure and freedom. Ballet trained her discipline. Dance awakened her expression. Martial arts ignited her warrior spirit. Movement became the language through which she studies the human experience.

She carries the essence of Budokon’s philosophy: The Way of the Warrior Spirit—a life lived in constant inquiry and curiosity, courage, and reimagination. She embodies the rare fusion of strength, ferocity, precision, movement intelligence, and fluid grace. Her teaching style reflects that same synthesis: deeply technical yet intuitive, grounded yet exploratory, disciplined yet creatively alive. Her presence is felt.

“This immersion is deeply personal to me. For many years it has been a longing of mine to explore my natural inclination of healing arts and touch. Once I came across Sebastian’s work, I not only felt deep respect for his craft and dedication to this art form and path, but also recognized similarities in his movement patterns and mine. His approach to Thai Massage is grounded in presence, listening, and a deep respect for the body’s intelligence, so I chose to study and learn from him in 2025. The immersion felt deeply nurturing to me as a space where I can express the softness and giving nature of my feminine integrated with my grouding strength, intention, integrity and precision. I also understood that our Budokon Mobility patterns can be of tremendous support and a tool for any body worker to finesse their own movement and that for quality of touch and life. In that moment this unique collaboration was born from a shared understanding:

True embodiment requires both — structure and surrender, strength and fluidity, precision and feeling.”

THE INTEGRATIVE EXPERIENCE

Budokon will refine the way how you move and translate that expression into a feeling.
Thai Massage will refine the way how you feel and that for move.

You will build an intimate relationship with yourself to extend that to others. You will discover:

  • Where you hold tension

  • Where you over-effort, over-do and over-compensate

  • Where you resist — support and receiving

  • How you use your body as a fine tuned instrument

  • How you listen through movement

  • The continuous practice of awareness and interconnectedness

As a bodyworker, Budokon Mobility will refine your ability to:

  • Move with fluidity
Transition around your partner without breaking contact or presence

  • Listen through your body
Not just through your hands, but through your positioning, weight, and breath

  • Distribute effort intelligently
Use your whole body, not just isolated muscles, to give sustainable, effective work

  • Build strength and longevity
So your practice can evolve without burnout or injury

  • Make confident decisions
Respond in real time instead of second-guessing or defaulting to routine

  • Maintain your own health as a priority
So giving does not come at the expense of your body

You will not just learn new skills and techniques.  You will refine perception, how to carry self, your energetic signature, quality of touch and find your authentic expressive movement.
