THE ELEMENTAL THAI MASSAGE & BUDOKON MOBILITY IMMERSION
Guided by Sebastian Bruno & Melayne Shayne
SeptEMBER 4–10, 2026 | Montana
Guided by Co-Founder of ThaiVedic Sebastian Bruno and Budokon University Director and Mixed Movement Artist Melayne Shayne, this immersive experience weaves together the elemental wisdom of Traditional Thai Massage and Medicine and the integrated system of Budokon.
This immersion is an invitation into the space where integrated strength meets softness and deep listening.
Where movement becomes a language of connection — with self and as preparation for the art of touch.
Where touch then becomes a pathway to our own senses, intuition and inner wisdom. To feeling, relating and understanding others with curiosity and compassion.
The Elemental Thai Massage & Budokon Immersion will foster in your a practice in how you meet yourself, and others. Where Thai Massage and Budokon become meditation in motion.
Where we meet with presence first, not technique first.
Most movement trainings teach you how to perform.
Most bodywork trainings teach you how to apply techniques.
This immersion is uniquely curated beyond technique and performance. You will explore:
Listening
Relating
Adapting
Being present in real time
Ritual and meditation
Slow, rhythmic, wave-like touch and movement
Nervous system regulation
Effort and ease
Control and trust
Giving and receiving
THE INTEGRATIVE EXPERIENCE
Budokon will refine the way how you move and feel.
Thai Massage will refine the way how you feel and move. You will build an intimate relationship with yourself to extend that to others. You will discover:
Where you hold tension
Where you over-effort, over-do and over-compensate
Where you resist — support and receiving
How you use your body as a fine tuned instrument
How you listen through movement
The continuous practice of awareness and interconnectedness
You will not just learn new skills and techniques. You will refine perception, how to carry self, your energetic signature, quality of touch and find your authentic expressive movement.
Apply now to join this uniquely curated experience and container.

THE ENNEAGRAM PERSONALITY TEST
Melayne and Cameron continuously explore and enhance our program to guarantee a rich learning experience and to create opportunities for self-development work as part of your Budokon experience.
Melayne is a InnerCompass Coach and incorporates the Assessment & Personality Profile System as an integrated personal development tool for you during your studies. Several of our students, partners, team members, friends and family have taken the assessment and we have already seen the benefits of the use of the InnerCompass results:
Here are some key highlights we have found with the tool:
* It helps you understand your unconscious motivations and drives
* It offers an exclusive and unique understanding of how you live and show up in life across ALL 9 Personality Types
* You will be able to identify with clarity of heart and mind your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving
* If offers an opportunity to understand the relationship between movement and how your patterns are stored in the body
* With courage, curiosity, and grace have a method to explore and integrate life more fully
Please email melayne@budokon.com if you are interested in taking the test prior to coming to Montana. Once you have completed the test you will receive a 3-4 pages result report via email. You will be asked to write your personal reflections on it. While in Montana, you can schedule your individual reading and coaching to understand your results and how to integrate the insights into your life.
FQA
Do I need a partner?
No. You will rotate partners throughout the training.
Do I need experience in Thai Massage or Budokon?
No. Everything is taught progressively.
Is this physically intense?
Yes—but adaptable. You are encouraged to work at your level.
I still have a job and responsibilities back at home - can I make calls and is there wifi on site?
Yes, we have an open wifi network for our students to use at the guest house. Remember that we live in a remote rural area and that the wifi speed behaves accordingly. Make sure to schedule necessary appointments so it does not conflict with the training hours. Mornings before training, during the brunch break or at night after training would be the best time frames for that. Always check in and confirm timings with Melayne prior booking anything. There is no cellular service, however you can enable wifi-calling.
What about personal care?
Making conscious choices in all aspects of our lives is key to us. We exclusively use natural solutions derived from plants and ask you to be considerate of our way of life and join the mission for a greener more conscious planet! Make sure that the toiletries you bring reflect our mission! We also provide body wash and shampoo.
Communal living = team work
You will join this experience as a tribe member - we train, study, cook, eat, clean, play and sleep together. Community, team work and contribution are an essential part of your experience at Budokon Montana.
Will we get to experience Montana and have leisure time?
Yes in order to experience all the elements we will explore our surrounding lakes and possibly Glacier National Park.
