Melayne Shayne is the VP of the Mixed Movement Arts System Budokon and Director of the Budokon University Certification Programs. She is Budokon Mixed Movement Athlete, Sixblades and Lovato Purple Belt and the Founder of the Running With Wolves Mentorship Program For Women. Melayne has made her passion for movement and expansion of self her craft and sharing. She has become a leading movement innovator and teaches worldwide.

After 6 years at adidas Headquarters as Global Brand Manager, in 2014 Melayne met her future husband, Budokon Founder Cameron Shayne. Together they opened The Budokon Academy Miami and developed their holistic movement and coaching platform budokononline.com. In 2020 Melayne and Cameron relocated their Budokon Headquarters to Montana where they now co-host their world renown Budokon Teacher Trainings, Retreats and Personal Development experiences

With their unique and systematic approach and art form Melayne and Cameron have not only revolutionized the Yoga world by integrating martial arts into their movement vernacular with Budokon Yoga but have also fundamentally transformed Pro Combat athlete’s conditioning training with Budokon Yoga & Mobility. Both Melayne and Cameron have established themselves as personal BDK Movement Coaches for UFC fighters Gilbert Burns, Andre Fialho, Josh Burkman, ADCC Medalist Vagner Rocha as well as World Champions Rafael Lovato Jr. and Xande Ribeiro.

As a movement and marital artist herself, Melayne’s life mission is to empower and elevate women with her {Running With Wolves Mentorship Program}. Through the vessel of Budokon practices, free from movement, self-defense, sensual awakening, holistic nutrition, natural beauty and self-inquiry work, she encourages other women to experience themselves fully integrated in their masculine and feminine attributes. Melayne challenges her students to investigate deeply ingrained limiting beliefs, habitual patterns and to become the most conscious authors of their narratives. Her experiences create a unique opportunity for women to re-discover, re-wild and re-define themselves as they step into a space of honest, self-accountable and co-creative growth.
